What data of yours we keep when you apply, what we use it for, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to ask us to correct or delete it.
Version 2026-08 Last revised Aug. 27, 2026
The data controller is PS Grupo Hunting SpA, with registered address at Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. For anything concerning your personal data, write to us at contacto@grupops.cl.
We are governed by Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life, as amended by Law No. 21,719, which creates the Personal Data Protection Agency and takes full effect on 1 December 2026. We already apply it, because the CVs we receive today will still be in our database on that date.
What you give us when you apply: name, email, phone and CV, which are mandatory because without them we cannot get back to you; and anything else you want to tell us —experience, education, city, working arrangement, availability, expected salary—, which is optional and helps your profile show up when it should.
What the submission itself leaves behind: the date and time, the language you applied in, the IP address from which you accepted this policy and the browser you used. We do not use this to profile you: it is the evidence that consent existed and when you gave it, which is something the law requires us to be able to prove.
What is generated later: the interviews we hold, the assessments you take and the team's notes on your application.
For the role you applied to: reviewing your profile, contacting you, interviewing you, assessing you and presenting your application to the hiring company if you move forward. Without this authorisation there is no application to work on, which is why it is the only mandatory box.
For future processes, only if you authorise it. That is the second box, it is optional, and ticking it or not changes nothing about how today's application is reviewed.
To comply with the law: responding to requests from the authorities and keeping what we are required to keep.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell, transfer or trade it with anyone who wants to sell you something.
On yours. We ask for it before processing anything, separately for each purpose and against this text, whose version is stored alongside your acceptance.
You can withdraw it at any time and as easily as you gave it: an email to contacto@grupops.cl is enough. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before receiving it, and if you withdraw the authorisation for the process you are taking part in, that process ends for you.
We do not ask for it and we ask you not to include it: health, disability, ethnic origin, union or political affiliation, beliefs, sex life and biometric data are not needed in order to apply. If it appears in your CV anyway, we treat it with the same confidentiality as everything else and we do not use it to decide.
One exception is worth naming: Chilean law treats information about your socio-economic situation as sensitive, and expected salary falls under it. That is why the field is optional. If you fill it in, we use it only for this process and to match the offer to what you expect.
With the hiring company, and only if your application moves forward. We tell you which company it is before presenting you: we do not send your profile to anyone behind your back.
With the providers that serve us and act on our instructions —hosting, email, calendar and the artificial intelligence services described below—. None of them may use your data for their own purposes.
The system and the CVs are hosted on Amazon Web Services, in its São Paulo region, Brazil.
Automatic CV reading and technical test grading rely on OpenAI, with servers in the United States. Only what is needed for that task is sent, under its business service terms, which do not allow that content to be used to train models.
Both are international transfers and are carried out with the contractual safeguards Chilean law requires.
To search within a large database we use automatic CV reading and similarity search: they rank and suggest profiles for a vacancy.
No decision about your application is made automatically. Moving you forward, ruling you out or presenting you to a client is always decided by a person on the team, and you can ask us to explain any of those decisions.
The law does not set one number of months for everyone: it sets that data be kept for as long as it is needed for what it was collected for, and that we tell you how long that is. As there are two purposes, there are two periods.
For the role you applied to: while it is running, and then until the guarantee agreed for that role expires, plus 30 days. During the guarantee, if the person hired does not stay, we have to replace them, and for that we need the applications from that search. Once it expires, they no longer serve what they were collected for.
For the talent pool, if you authorised it: 36 months from the last time we speak, and the clock resets with every contact —a new application, an email, an interview—. Three years, because in management and executive roles a profile that does not fit today fits again much later. If the period passes in silence, we anonymise your profile: who you are is erased and only what does not identify you remains, which is what tells us what the market looks like.
You can reset that period whenever you want: just write to us and say you are still interested. And you can do the opposite just as easily, asking us to remove you before it runs out.
The record of your consent —what you accepted, when, and against which version of this text— outlives the deletion of your profile for as long as we may be required to prove it, and is used for nothing else.
Over your personal data you may exercise, free of charge:
Write to us at contacto@grupops.cl from the email address you applied with, or from another one attaching something that proves your identity. We reply within the deadlines set by law.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Chilean Personal Data Protection Agency.
Access to the system is personal and role-based: whoever is not working on your process does not see your profile. Connections are encrypted, every change to an application is logged with its author and date, and CVs are stored with restricted access.
If a breach that could affect you were to occur, we will tell you and report it to the authority within the applicable deadlines.
The portal is intended for people over 18. If we detect an application from a minor, we delete their data.
If we change what we ask for or what we use it for, we publish a new version of this text and ask for your authorisation again. Each consent is tied to the version that was accepted, not to whichever is in force later.
Write to us at contacto@grupops.cl and we will reply. You do not need to explain why.
